Melting Down

Vinh had a meltdown today. It was not good. It’s so hard to know where to be firm because we don’t want you to form bad habits, but also don’t want you busting a blood vessel from all your screaming….

Eventually you did fall asleep and get up later and all seemed well, but I don’t want to repeat that again. Not a good day for napping…

Potty 🚽

Someone used the potty to tinkle, but also tinkled on the floor. Who was it? You!!!!

The same kid smart enough to build all these cubes was not smart enough to pee in toilet. Oh, you just peed your pants. I feel bad, but I’m thankful for your parents. Geez. Well I guess it’s nap time now…

I’m not sure specifically what I blogged about last year and I’m too lazy to look it up. This year I’m thankful for you and mommy.

You got a lot to work on like potty training and eating (seems like the same complaint), but you’re a pretty good kid overall. Thanks for another happy thanksgiving!🦃 

Be Careful

It only takes a moment for something bad to happen that could have been prevented. You’ll often find yourself thinking “if only I’d know” or “I wish I could do it over again”. Unfortunately, there’s no reset button in life.

The important thing is what we do after. If we can learn from our mistakes and do better in the future, it makes it “worth it”. So next time you say “sorry”, make sure you’re not going to do the same thing again…

Healthy 💪

I need to be healthier. You need to always be healthy. So we need to cut back on candy. Get back to eating fruits as sweets for you. 

High blood pressure runs in our family. I’d rather you keep it low naturally if possible. I’m not saying you can’t have any more candy, but we should really limit to emergencies and just a little bit….

Your Gym

Today really was your gym at My Gym today. I’m sorry you didn’t have any friends playing, but at least you got to play. It’s too bad you didn’t want to play with the teachers, but they got to get a head start on cleaning. 

I hope they’ll get paid for all their hours even if they close up a little bit early. Anyhow, you’ll get 2 more chances before the holiday to play with friends…if they show up.
