Less Sleep?

You’re still sleeping later, but it seems you’re up about an hour earlier and on your own. I hope this is okay. Your mom is pretty worried about your cousins. I can only say that we are doing our best. I can’t say and don’t know that about others.

We can’t blame you too much since you’re just a kid, but I know you can do better. We will do our best as a family to make sure you are the best you that you can be. 🙏 

Back To The Grind

Wow, sorry I thought I finished this post. Anyhow, we all made it back. You were a little sad, which is nice to know you have feelings for your family. Hoping you’ll get over this crying soon, but us going on vacation after week 2 of changes didn’t help. Sorry bro.

In Long Beach. I felt bad that you kept on saying you wanted to go home this trip. Well, now you do. I want you to not miss them too much (like Ally) so you aren’t sad, but missing people also is a good thing…at least a little.

Hoping for a safe and uneventful trip home. Theoretically, you should be sleeping for half of the trip. The second half mommy will have to keep you entertained, but at least you watch shows now…

I wished you’d eaten at Aunty Leena’s house, but at least you ate a little back at Aunty Nha’s. We’re on vacation, you need to enjoy the food. Maybe someday you’ll understand that’s a large reason for traveling…

Sleep, sleep, sleep for you and mommy chop. Sorry you woke up so many times. I was pretty tired and needed to stop more than usual, but we got there safe.

Please make sure you’re nice to your family. We don’t see them very often so you need to enjoy your time. We will go home soon enough and you’ll wish you were back here…

I asked you why you cried at school today and your response was because you wanted to. 🤦‍♂️ it’s just school and you have familiar faces so I don’t know what the issue is. At least you let the teachers take you…

Family time with your other family is limited so I’m sorry you didn’t want to go today, but Bac Tuyen is going home tomorrow and you won’t see her for a whole year. So be nice okay?

I Still Don’t Want To Go

The morning started off later, but so well until…I went to leave daycare. I probably shouldn’t have asked how you are when I saw your sad face. That led to 20 mins of crying. I really don’t know what it is aside from the change of scenery. You have lots of familiar faces in your “big kids” class.

Anyhow, I guess I can’t win them all. At least you ate good today and fast. I got you some vanilla yogurt, but couldn’t find any lollipops for you sorry. Hopefully tomorrow will be an improvement on today. 🙏
