Family Fun Day

Today wasn’t even our family night, but we still got to hang out and have fun with our family and more. I’m sorry that we had to wake you up to go to church, but others really appreciated your sacrifice.

It really is important to spend time with those important to us. We don’t know what the future holds, so we must make the most of the present. You’re their present. 😂 

Baditude

Sometimes it’s good to have baditude. But when it comes to listening and obeying your parents, it’s not. I’m gonna start smacking you without warnings now. 

We didn’t have terrible 2s, but it looks like we’re having terrible 3s with you and if you’re gonna be terrible to us, you’re gonna accept the consequences of your actions. Actions have consequences and it’s something you need to learn and understand early on life…

Meltdowns

I heard that we should let you meltdown and then talk about your feelings, but sometimes it’s frustrating. Today everything seemed fine until we got inside daycare and you didn’t want to let me go…

Was it because I didn’t leave fast enough and other kids were crying? Merryhill says I shouldn’t linger, but I didn’t want to appear like a cold parent. But I really need you to stop telling me you can’t do stuff or do a lot. We know you can. Do I need or invite the skeleton everywhere?

Never Forget

That’s the slogan for 9/11 if you live in America. That being said, it’s good opportunity to remind you that it’s your Aunty 🥑 and cousin Dani’s birthdays today. 

Never forget how lucky you are. Never forget how it felt to fall off the couch today. Never forget the skeleton at Costco. Never forget to be good and make the most of this one life you got. Never forget or you’ll be forgotten. See what I did there? 😂 

Sibling

Just so you know. We are trying, now, really hard to get you a sibling. It’s a lot harder than we anticipated. Sorry. I really don’t know if we’ll be successful, but we’ll do our best.

Hopefully, you’ll be fine no matter what happens. We’ll make sure you’re loved and surrounded by family, friends and lots of love too. 

My Gym

Miss Sunny and Miss Sana. It’s been a while since we’ve seen them both at My Gym. You’re very lucky. It’s too bad you don’t fully appreciate it. We’re getting tired of telling you to participate. Eventually we may just take you home or stop going…

I just don’t know if you’ll understand or will it just be lost on you. It really is true that knowledge is power. I wish you all the power in the world, but ignorance is bliss…

Mondays

As much as we can try to fight it, we can’t avoid it. Unless we come into some money #lottery #FUmoney

Until then, it’s Scbool and Work and Life. So work hard. Do well in school and work. And you’ll have more time and a better time at life. Hopefully our financial success as parents does not hinder your success at life. We’re trying our best 🙏.
