Consequences

There was a funny video with your cousin Evelyn talking to her brother about consequences. Maybe it’s our failure as parents that we don’t let you experience enough consequences (negative ones).

The next generation is really at a disadvantage. As we try to protect you, we handicap you by not allowing you to experience important feelings in life that may impact your development. Maybe it’s time to start letting you experience more consequences. We have to remember that we’re parents first, friends second.
