Trying

We really are trying to get a sibling for you. This is gonna be our third attempt at IVF. Not sure if you'll know what that means by the time you read this, but just know (although we started late), we are making an effort to expand our family. This is my half of the cost of the recent attempt.

I know you will never really be alone, but I also know it can be lonely alone as a child. You always want mommy and daddy to watch or play with you. I'm sorry that we can't always do that. I will make a conscious effort to do more of that (including watching your shows with you), but it also is important for you to learn to be independent. Just like with work, you need to be a good independent worker along with being a good team collaborator. Prayers the third time is a charm...
